Editorial

Websites

A newsroom that publishes every day can’t wait for the developer. And an archive built over years of articles can’t disappear from Google because the platform changed.

We build editorial sites around two things: the speed of the people who write and the value of what has already been written.

WHEN IT’S TIME

THE NEWSROOM WAITS

Publishing a piece takes too many steps, the templates aren’t enough and every new format becomes a request to the developers.

THE ARCHIVE WEIGHS

Thousands of articles, duplicate tags, categories that grew without rules. Finding an old piece is hard for readers and for search engines.

THE SITE SLOWS DOWN

During traffic peaks, exactly when a piece is spreading, the site gets slow or stops responding.

FORMATS CHANGE

Columns, specials, newsletters, in-depth features: the platform has to take on a new format without a separate project.

WHAT WE DO

CONTENT MODEL

Content types, columns, authors and taxonomies designed before the migration. Putting the taxonomies in order is often the most useful work in the whole project.

ARCHIVE MIGRATION

Articles, authors, images, tags and categories reach the other side with URLs and redirects mapped one by one. The migration is a script we run several times before launch, the last one just before going live, so not even the piece published the day before gets lost.

EDITORIAL BLOCKS

Quotes, galleries, in-depth boxes, embedded content: the newsroom adds them from the editor, without writing HTML.

PERFORMANCE

Light pages and caching designed for peaks, with Core Web Vitals under control even on the longest articles.

MULTILINGUAL

With Rock, if the newsroom publishes in more than one language. No fees, translations in your database.

THE PROJECTS

Real estate

COIMA

COIMA has been investing in, developing and managing real estate on behalf of institutional investors since 1974. Its projects include the Porta Nuova district in Milan, which it developed and still manages today.

We moved the group site from Contentful to WordPress with North: a property portfolio filterable by company, city and type, the press release archive going back to 2014, a financial calendar you can save to your own calendar and the sustainability reports, in Italian and English. The in-house team updates it without technical support.

Design & 3D

Nudesign

Nudesign is an Italian design studio producing 3D images, animations and videos, and Ensoul’s partner for 3D production.

We moved the site from OctoberCMS to WordPress: a portfolio that puts the visual work first, and that the studio updates on its own, end to end, without touching code.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • The migration itself is automatic and is repeated several times before launch. The time goes into the preparation: mapping the formats, cleaning up the taxonomies, checking the redirects.

  • Only if it pays off, and never without redirects. We often keep the existing structure precisely so as not to touch the rankings.

  • Yes. The new site is built on a separate environment and before launch we run a final import of the articles published in the meantime.
