Replatforming is the part of Ensoul that works below the surface. We keep what works on your site and change what holds it up.
Because you don’t always need a new site. Sometimes you just need the one you have to stop falling apart.
Ensoul is a design and development studio based in Udine, founded by Fulvio Romanin and Giulio Pecorella.
We design websites and ecommerce starting from design: identity, experience, design system.
Replatforming grew out of Ensoul for a different problem: sites that look good but are hard to keep running. Same people, same method, a different starting point.

The design holds up, the rest doesn’t
It happens a lot: the site has a look that represents you, your customers recognise it, you’ve invested in it. But behind it something no longer works.
UPDATES
Every update is a risk, so nobody updates it any more. And a site that isn’t updated becomes a security problem.
PLUGINS
Important features hanging on plugins nobody maintains. When two of them clash, you find out from a customer.
SLOWNESS
Heavy pages, Core Web Vitals in the red, a site that opens on mobile when the user has already left.
DEPENDENCY
Only the person who built it can work on it. And sometimes they no longer answer.
COSTS
Hosting, licences and emergency fixes that every year cost more than the site brings in.
In these cases, redoing everything means throwing away work that works. Replatforming does the opposite: we rebuild your design exactly as it is, as a block-based design system on WordPress or Shopify, and bring across content, URLs and rankings.
What you don’t see changes. What you see stays yours, and from then on your team runs it.
