Replatforming

A corporate site doesn’t age in its design: it ages in the way it gets updated. We rebuild it on WordPress with North, our block framework, and with Rock for multilingual.

We don’t just rebuild the site: we change the way your company publishes.

1ANALYSIS

We take stock of what you have: pages, documents, languages, traffic, forms and integrations. We find out what brings visits and leads, and what is there only because nobody ever removed it.

ARCHITECTURE

We design the content model and the block-based design system: page types, taxonomies, archives, components. This is where we decide what your team will be able to compose on its own.

3MIGRATION

We move pages, articles, documents and media with redirects mapped one by one. What can be migrated with a script we migrate with a script; the rest we fix by hand.

4INTEGRATIONS

We connect CRM, newsletter, catalogues and technical documents. Leads from the forms reach the place they’re needed, Salesforce for example, without copy and paste.

5LAUNCH AND TRAINING

A controlled go-live, monitoring of traffic and rankings, training for the editorial team. From the next day, your team makes the new pages.

north and rock

NORTH — The block framework we build every corporate site on. Every component is a Gutenberg block designed on your design system: the team changes text and images and composes new pages, but can’t break the layout by accident.

ROCK — The multilingual plugin we develop ourselves. No annual fee, no lock-in: your translations stay in your database even if one day you choose another supplier.

Two kinds of site,

two different problems

CORPORATE WEBSITES

Industrial groups, multi-brand companies, real estate, B2B businesses. The problem is holding together catalogues, projects, documents and investors without the site turning into a maze.

EDITORIAL WEBSITES

Newsrooms that publish every day, foundations, archives of thousands of pieces of content. The problem is the speed of the people who write and the value of what has already been written.

WHICH PLATFORM
ARE YOU MIGRATING FROM?

WORDPRESS WITH A PAGE BUILDER

Elementor, WPBakery, Divi: quick to put together, hard work to use after a few years. Heavy markup, Core Web Vitals in the red and pages that break if you move an element. You stay on WordPress, everything else changes.

DRUPAL

Solid, but heavy to maintain, and every version jump is a project of its own. Drupal 7 has been out of support since January 2025. We bring content types, taxonomies and users to WordPress with an equivalent model.

JOOMLA

Common on company sites a few years ago, today with an ever smaller ecosystem of extensions. We migrate articles, categories and menus, and rebuild the modules as blocks.

WEBFLOW

When no code loses ground to vibe code. Webflow made a site without developers possible, but its CMS stays tight: limits on the number of items, rigid collections, every extra language paid for. We move collections, media and URLs to WordPress with North, where the team builds new pages on its own and languages cost nothing extra.

PROPRIETARY CMS

The custom CMS built by an agency ten years ago, which only its author knows how to update. We extract the content from the database and bring it to a platform that doesn’t depend on a single supplier.

HEADLESS (CONTENTFUL AND THE LIKE)

A custom frontend, an external CMS on a subscription, and every new page needs a developer. If you don’t really need headless, WordPress with North gives you back editorial independence.

PROCESSWIRE

Flexible, but finding someone to maintain it is getting harder. We migrate it to WordPress or, if there’s a shop, to Shopify, as we did for Elio e le Storie Tese.

THE PROJECTS

Real estate

COIMA

COIMA has been investing in, developing and managing real estate on behalf of institutional investors since 1974. Its projects include the Porta Nuova district in Milan, which it developed and still manages today.

We moved the group site from Contentful to WordPress with North: a property portfolio filterable by company, city and type, the press release archive going back to 2014, a financial calendar you can save to your own calendar and the sustainability reports, in Italian and English. The in-house team updates it without technical support.

Design & 3D

Nudesign

Nudesign is an Italian design studio producing 3D images, animations and videos, and Ensoul’s partner for 3D production.

We moved the site from OctoberCMS to WordPress: a portfolio that puts the visual work first, and that the studio updates on its own, end to end, without touching code.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • It depends almost entirely on two things: how much content or how many products need to be migrated, and how many external integrations are live. Design matters far less than people think. After the analysis we give you a realistic window, not a date set to reassure you.

  • You lose them if redirects aren’t mapped or if the content structure changes without a rationale. That’s why URL mapping is the first thing we do, not the last. Some movement in the first weeks is normal; a collapse is not.

  • No. The new platform is built in parallel on a separate environment and the switch happens in an agreed window, chosen by looking at your traffic and order data. Nobody launches on a Friday evening.

  • It’s the stated goal of the project, not a side effect. We deliver a block-based design system with components that can’t be broken by accident, plus training for your editorial team. If you call us to change a paragraph after launch, we got something wrong.

  • With Rock, the plugin we develop ourselves: no annual fee, no lock-in, and your translations stay in your database even if tomorrow you decide to work with someone else.

  • Yes, and it’s a steady part of our work. We build under your brand, talk to your team and don’t contact your clients. If you prefer, we don’t even know who they are.

  • No. It’s our choice for corporate and editorial sites because it’s widespread, open and doesn’t tie you to us. If the analysis shows you need something else, we tell you.
